Camp Kitchen Lead is responsible for proactively keeping all food service areas clean, safe and well maintained, and providing healthy, nutritious meals while positively interacting with campers, guests and other staff.  Kitchen Lead staff is responsible for regular food inventory, prep, cooking, serving, dishwashing, laundry, mopping, kitchen maintenance, and basic janitorial duties, as well as leading kitchen operations in the absence of the head chef. 
Starting Wage Range:
$9.66 - $12.08 
Proposed Starting Date:

Spring Season Starts: April 2018
Summer Season Starts: June 2018
Fall Season Starts: October 2018
Key Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old.  Must have current CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain certification within 45 days of hire.  Food Handler certification or equivalent from Health Department approved training course preferred.  Must have ability to understand and follow proper food handling, storage, and preparation laws/regulations. Must have ability to learn and understand food allergies and dietary needs.
Additional Requirements:

Seasonal full-time and part-time positions available. Must have flexible schedule during camp operation. Must have ability to attend all regular staff meetings and trainings.

Job requires ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, lean, and kneel.  Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency. Must have ability to speak concisely and effectively to communicate needs.
