Yoga Instructor – West – Health and Wellbeing
Yoga Instructors are responsible for leading our Group Yoga classes. Instructors are responsible for creating a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement.  The desired candidate will have a strong aspiration to engage with community and meet a diverse population’s needs. All Instructors must be able to work autonomously within the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

Starting Wage Range:     $13.23 - $16.54

Key Qualifications:
Must hold current and valid certifications in Yoga instruction, and current CPR or the ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days. Must be able to engage members in conversation and make all people feel welcome and be prepared and on time to teach classes.  Must be able to make announcements in class about YMCA events and programs.  Must be able to interact with the broad spectrum of members and staff diversity.  Ability to effectively communicate verbally to large and small groups of members.  Must be able to build relationships with participants while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Additional Requirements:
This is a part-time position. Current class time is Saturday 7:30AM, and sub shift will be available.
Must be able to conduct classes and activities including demonstrating proper technique and interact with members in an environment with a moderate noise level.
