Evening Facility Supervisor – South

The Evening Facility Supervisor is responsible for creating a friendly, helpful, positive, and safe atmosphere for all members, volunteers, and employees in the facility.  The Evening Facility Supervisor will respond to member related concerns, questions, emergencies in a positive and professional manner and ensure that evening facility operations are high-quality. 

Starting Wage Range:
$9.66 - $12.08

Proposed Starting Date:
April 30, 2018

Key Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. The ideal candidate will have proven customer service skills as well as strong written and verbal communications skills. Must have the ability to build and maintain relationships with members, staff and volunteers from all social and economic segments of the community, keep a clean and safe facility,  and assist and educate members and guests in YMCA policies and procedures. Must be able to manage several projects and have strong decision making skills.

Additional Requirements:
This is a full-time position at approximately 30 hours per week. Medical and Vision benefits are available for the employee.  Initial schedule will be Wednesday-Friday, 5:30pm - 10:15pm, Saturday 12:00pm - 8:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am – 6:00pm. Schedule will shift by one day each quarter to allow periodic weekends off. 
 
Job requires ability to walk, stand, sit (including on the floor), bend, lean, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in an environment with a moderate noise level.  Must have or be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 45 days of hire.
