The Cardio Equipment & Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs the association cardio equipment, and performing handy and general maintenance services and repairs. The Cardio and Equipment and Maintenance Technician may also preform basic building maintenance, including electrical, woodworking, building repair, and cleaning. 

Starting Wage:
$16.18 - $20.23

Proposed Start Date:

5 years of previous experience in cardio equipment maintenance field preferred. Previous experience in general maintenance field preferred. Skills in performing preventative maintenance preferred CPO (Certified Pool Operator required (within 60 days of hire). Must be able to meet YMCA transportation requirements, and local travel to various locations will be required. 

Physical Demands:
Must be able to walk, stand, sit (including on the floor) for extended periods of time. Must be able to crouch, bend, lean, kneel. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight and maneuver weight in excess of 50 pounds safely. Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, respond to critical situations, and act swiftly in an emergency.

This is a full-time position, primarily Monday through Friday. Hours will sometimes vary outside normal schedule due to projects, maintenance issues, and rotation of on-call calendar. Some late nights and weekends will be required.
