Senior Head Lifeguard - Caldwell
 
The Caldwell YMCA opened its doors on October 27, 2005. Since that time it has become a hallmark of the community, impacting the lives of thousands of kids and families. Facility amenities include a large cardio and weight floor, full-court basketball gym, three fitness studios, and a state of the art aquatics center including a lap-pool, splash pad, pretzel slide, and lazy-river.
 
Senior Head Lifeguards are responsible for assisting with all lifeguard and safety management functions of the Aquatics Center. Senior Head Guards are also responsible for mentoring, conducting safety and lifeguard drills, and ensuring the rescue readiness of the entire lifeguard team.  

Starting Wage Range:
$11.47 - $14.34

September 2018
 
Key Qualifications:
Must be over the age of 18.  Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills. Current lifeguard certification required with Basic Life Support, First Aid, and Administering Emergency Oxygen Certifications. YMCA Lifeguarding certification required within 90 days.
 
Physical Requirements:
Must have ability to work in humid environment and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must also have physical ability to complete and maintain all lifeguard certification requirements..
 
Schedule Requirements:
This is a Full-Time position. Typical schedule is be Monday-Friday 12:00pm - 7:00pm. All Aquatics staff is required to attend after-hours in-service training once monthly.
