Membership Specialist - Caldwell
 
The Caldwell YMCA opened its doors on October 27, 2005. Since that time it has become a hallmark of the community, impacting the lives of thousands of kids and families. Facility amenities include a large cardio and weight floor, full-court basketball gym, three fitness studios, and a state of the art aquatics center including a lap-pool, splash pad, pretzel slide, and lazy-river.
 
Membership Specialists are responsible for membership engagement and retention, processing membership paperwork and financial assistance, and maintaining accurate account records including 3rd party pay, invoicing, bank drafts, membership cancellation, and status changes. In addition, Membership Specialists assess the individual needs and interests of each potential member and match them to Y programs. 
 
Starting Wage Range:
$9.96 - $12.44

Key Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma. Experience in customer service required. Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with varying populations and have the discretion necessary to maintain confidentiality of all member, employee, and volunteer information and files. Computer proficiency required.  Must have current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 45 days. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
 
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to sit and/or stand in a stationary position at computer work station for extended periods of time.
 
Schedule Requirements:
This is a full-time position. Schedule will vary based on the needs of the business and will include one weekend per month.
