Payroll and Accounting Technician – Association Services
The Payroll and Accounting Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks and functions to support the payroll administrator while ensuring confidentiality and compliance to legal and YMCA requirements. In addition, the Payroll and Accounting Technician will assist with other accounting functions within the department such as data entry, file maintenance, and member surveys.
Starting Wage Range:
$11.26 - $14.08

Key Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with payroll functions preferred. Excellent human relation skills and an ability to maintain positive communication with staff and outside agencies required.

Ability to maintain a high degree of tact, discretion and confidentiality required. Detail oriented required. Strong computer skills including ability to manage spreadsheets and data management software required.
Additional Requirements:

This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week.  Schedule is flexible within the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00PM Monday-Friday. Specific schedule to be discussed with hiring manager.

Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position at a computer work station for extended periods of time.  Must have the ability to view data on a computer screen and communicate orally via telephone for extended periods of time.
