JOB OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT
Welcome Center Staff – Downtown – Membership
 
The Welcome Center Staff serves as a primary point of contact for all information inquiries, maintains secure use of the facility, and processes transactions involving program registration and receipt of registration fees. An ideal candidate will have the ability and desire to by engage both members and the general public, ensuring that their needs are met upon entering the facility.
 
Starting Wage: $8.41
Proposed Starting Date: ASAP
Key Qualifications:



 
Must be at least 18 years old.  Must have current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 45 days. This position requires high energy, positive attitude when welcoming and helping members along with effective writing and phone communication skills. Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:








 
This is a part-time position. Typical schedule will include Wedneday 5:00PM-9:00PM, Thursday 5:00PM-8:00PM, and Sunday 10:00AM-2:00PM.
 
Applicant must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency. Must have ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry food and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling, and walking.
