Opening on May 25, 2018, the South Meridian Branch of the Treasure Valley YMCA is unlike any other in the country. The Youth Activity Center offers youth and teens (ages 6-15) a place to gather, socialize, play games, or just relax. YAC Staff is responsible for assisting children with various activities and projects, ensuring a safe, clean, friendly environment for all participants.  Within the various programs and activities offered in these areas, youth are cultivating the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement.

Starting Wage Range:
$8.49 - $9.00

Key Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older and have current CPR certification or be willing to obtain within 45 days of hire. Successful applicants will demonstrate an ability to communicate in a clear and pleasant manner; must maintain a safe, inclusive environment for children; must be able to respond quickly to emergency situations; must have a basic understanding of child development principles.

Additional Requirements:
This is a part time position, up to 25 hours per week.We have a variety of shifts available, so please specify availability on your application.  Evening and weekend availability is a must!
Applicants must be able to attend meetings and training which may fall outside of regular hours.
Must have the ability to walk, stand and sit on the floor for extended periods of time in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations. Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
