Ballet and Creative Movement Instructor - Caldwell 

Ballet and Creative Movement introduces boys and girls aged 3-9 to the art of dance with a focus on basic ballet elements and techniques. This program taps into the child’s creative nature to make them aware of their abilities through free expression of their imagination. 
The Ballet Creative Movement Instructor will be responsible for creating a safe, friendly, and helpful community environment for children participating in the program.
Starting Wage Range:
$13.60 - $16.87
Key Qualifications:
Must have experience in ballet. Group Exercise certification (AFFA, ACSM ACE, YMCA Foundations of Group exercise) required.  CPR/AED certification within 45 days.  Must have the ability to engage others in conversation and make all participants feel welcome. Must be able to respond calmly and quickly to safety and emergency situations. Must have good interpersonal and communications skills and be sensitive, adaptable, professional, and articulate when dealing with others.
Physical Requirements:
Applicant must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency. Must be able to work in a loud environment. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lead for extended period.  Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds in weight. Must have physical ability to lead a group exercise class in the applicable format.
Schedule Requirements:
This is a part-time position. Ballet and Creative Movement is offered twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm.  We will consider different days for the right candidate.
