Male Housekeeper - Caldwell
 
The Caldwell YMCA opened its doors on October 27, 2005. Since that time it has become a hallmark of the community, impacting the lives of thousands of kids and families. Facility amenities include a large cardio and weight floor, full-court basketball gym, three fitness studios, and a state of the art aquatics center including a lap-pool, splash pad, pretzel slide, and lazy-river.
 
YMCA Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment within the Caldwell YMCA branch.  Housekeepers are responsible for regular laundry, mopping, vacuuming, bathroom maintenance, and other basic janitorial duties. 
 
Starting Wage Range:
$9.09 - $11.36, DOE
 
Key Qualifications:
Must be male due to locker room restrictions. Must have current CPR certification or be able to obtain one within 45 days of hire.  Experience in routine maintenance, janitorial machinery, and the application and safe handling of chemicals is preferred, but not required.
 
Physical Requirements:
Must have the physical ability to stand and walk for extensive periods of time as well as the ability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds.  This position may require bending, stooping, leaning, and kneeling and the handling of chemicals used in routine cleaning.
 
Schedule Requirements:
This is a part-time position, at approximately 20 hours per week, plus the opportunity for sub-shifts.Typical schedule will include Monday and Thursday 9:00AM-2:00PM and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm.
