Camp Program Director – YMCA Camp at Horsethief Reservoir
Y Camp at Horsethief Reservoir is located about ten miles east of Cascade Idaho.  We have 415 acres of rugged wilderness at the south end of Horsethief Reservoir.  Approximately four hundred yards of spectacular waterfront along the two-mile long reservoir provide us with room for swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, and fishing, and we operate a high ropes course and one-of-a-kind, Idaho-shaped climbing tower as our high adventure activities on camp property.
At the Y, we believe in strengthening communities by helping participants discover themselves through interactions with others and having the freedom to explore. YMCA Camp at Horsethief Reservoir immerses children and adults in a community where making friends is natural, exploring new interests is encouraged, and discovering inner strength is guaranteed. YMCA Camp teaches self-reliance, instills a love for nature and the outdoors, and builds character and leadership—all amidst the fun of a camp environment. YMCA Camp at Horsethief Reservoir is positively the best way to strengthen a community.
In addition to our traditional camp programs, Y Camp at Horsetheif Reservoir hosts Outdoor Education for 5th and 6th graders, corporate retreats and conferences, team building, weddings, and more. The Camp Program Director is responsible for administering the total operation of Outdoor Education and Retreats and Conferences programs, overseeing the safe management of programs, facilities and program areas, volunteer and staff development, and financial development within the department.  The Camp Program Director will have the opportunity to positively affect revenue growth by elevating participant experience and a focus on client retention.
