Health and Wellbeing Floor Coordinator – South Meridian
The South Meridian Branch of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA is unlike any other in the country. The Health and Wellbeing Floor Coordinator is responsible for creating a safe, friendly, and helpful atmosphere for members in health and wellbeing programs on the fitness floor through supervising assigned staff and by developing and managing high-quality health and well-being programs.
Starting Wage Range:
$13.22 - $16.52

Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a health and fitness related field YMCA Strength and Conditioning certification within 10 days of employment. Experience working with individuals in programs to improve their personal health and wellbeing. Nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE, NASM, ACSM, NETA, NSCA, NFTP) preferred. Customer service and/or member engagement experience required. Excellent human relation skills and an ability to maintain positive communication with staff and members. Ability to address and make solid decisions in emergencies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including telephone etiquette and computer use. Project or program management skills required.  Prior experience of successful supervision of staff and volunteers preferred. Must be able to meet YMCA transportation requirements.
This position is a First Responder for the facility, and Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Physical Requirements:
Job requires ability to walk, stand, sit (including on the floor), bend, lean, and kneel in a variety of environments. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule Requirements:
This is a full-time position. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday, but flexibility is required to meet the needs of our members. Some early mornings, nights, and weekends are required, including monthly First Responder in-service training.
