21st Century After-School Enrichment Staff
 
The 21st Century Community Learning Program provides academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children at Sacajawea and Van Buren Elementary Schools. Activities include physical education, homework support, art, field trips, and science.
 
Starting Wage Range: $9.57
Proposed Starting Date: September 7, 2017

Key Qualifications:













 
Candidates must be 18 years or older. One year of experience with K- 6th grade preferred.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge and experience in developing and implementing daily lesson plans and creating an environment to meet the cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of the kids. Applicants must be able to build warm and supportive relationships with children, families, and staff in the program.
 
Selected candidates will provide a quality after-school program for up to 50 students at Sacajawea and Van Buren Elementary school. Must demonstrate organizational skills while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic. Applicants must be able to build warm and supportive relationships with children, families, and staff in the program.
 
Additional Requirements:







 
This is a part time position working about 8 to 10 hours a week.  Shifts will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 3:30pm and 6:00pm. Program runs according to the Caldwell school district calendar. 100 day program during the school year.
 
Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Must have ability to walk, stand, and sit (including on the floor) for extended periods of time. Position may include kneeling, bending, and crouching.
