The P16 Preschool Program, in conjunction with the Caldwell School District, allows for a diverse group of children from all backgrounds and abilities to grow and develop in an inclusive environment.
The P16 Preschool Coordinator is responsible for administering the operations of the P16 Preschool programs at Lincoln, Lewis & Clark, Sacajawea, and Wilson Elementary Schools in Caldwell. The Coordinator oversees management of the sites, curriculum and classroom instruction, parent and family engagement, volunteer and staff supervision, financial/budget management, and collaborations with the Caldwell School District in meeting the needs of program participants.
Starting Wage Range: $12.46 - $15.57
Proposed Starting Date: ASAP
Key Qualifications: Must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 1–3 years of management experience and 5 years of working with children in an organized environment required. Boise City Childcare Worker’s license required upon hire. Must have firm understanding of budgeting, staffing and scheduling, staff development, and implementing age-appropriate curriculum. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate educational programming for ages 3-5 years and experience implementing an approved curriculum is required. Bilingual preferred.

This is a Full-time position at 30-35 hours per week. Typical schedule will fall within the hours of Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM. Some hours will be spent in ratio in the classroom.
Must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Must have ability to walk, stand, and sit (including on the floor) for extended periods of time. Position may include kneeling, bending, and crouching.
