The Administrative Assistant will provide support for branch functions including Annual Campaign, volunteer cultivation and recognition, member engagement, marketing, and communications. The Branch Administrative Assistant ensures quality customer service levels in accordance with the established practices, systems, and philosophy of the YMCA. Must be cause-driven and have the ability to work autonomously within the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
Starting Wage Range: $11.15 - $13.94

Key Qualifications:

Two years’ experience providing administrative assistance support preferred. Experience in a non-profit environment preferred. Skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs, particularly Outlook, (calendar management), Word & Excel; aptitude to learn PowerPoint and other software programs. Ability to compose, edit, and finalize a variety of documents. Experience in scheduling meetings, events, travel, and associated activities. Demonstrate strong skills in interpersonal relations/human relations, and customer service, being sensitive, adaptable, welcoming, and professional and articulate when dealing with guests, in person and on the telephone. High level of tact and discretion required.  
Additional Information:

This is a full-time position. Typical hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.  Some evening and weekend hours may be required to meet the needs of our members, donors, and volunteers.
Ability to stand or sit maintaining alertness for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. Must be able to view data on a computer for extended periods of time.
